Terms & Conditions

1. The competition is open to UK Students and is free to enter (no purchase is necessary.)

2. All fields on the entry form must be answered in full for your entry to be valid. By entering the competition you agree for the Conair Group Ltd to contact you via email for offers, news etc.

3. Entries can only be submitted via the online image upload page.

4. The BaByliss PRO Gallery competition is for original hairdressing work carried out by the student uploading. Any plagiarized images will be removed and disqualified from the competition.

5. The Conair Group Ltd reserves the right to remove any images that are deemed to be inappropriate to the competition or are of a very poor quality and therefore, unable to be judged effectively.

6. The competition is open to all hairdressing students attending a hairdressing course at a college within the UK. The nature of the final prize means it is not suitable for all persons - please refer to the "Prize" section of these terms and conditions.

7. There is no cash or other alternative to the prize detailed (and the prize is not transferable.) However, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize if this becomes necessary for any reason.

8. One winner will be selected per month, determined by the number of votes received during that month. Each monthly winner will receive an email informing them of their success and advising them to contact Conair with details of the requested prize for them self and a further prize for their college. The competition finishes at the end of August when a panel of judges will choose from the monthly finalists to pick one individual to be the final winner. The judge's decision is final. The overall winner will be contacted immediately, given further information and begin the process of planning for Salon International. Please therefore enter your email address carefully (your given college email address preferable). The Conair Group Ltd shall not accept responsibility if it is unable to contact you.

9. The decision of The Conair Group Ltd is final and binding.

10. To ensure that we have a full group of finalists please note that an entrant can only win one of the monthly competitions, however users will be able to continue to vote for that entrants images. If an entrant who has already won wins again the votes cast will not count towards the monthly competitions. We will then defer to the next image with the most votes and this will be appointed as the winner

11. THE PRIZE - The winner, selected from the 12 monthly finalists will win the opportunity to assist on the BaByliss PRO stage for three days at Salon International. This will involve assisting all members of the BaByliss PRO crew on and off stage as required. The winner agrees that their name and image will appear on the www.babylisspro.co.uk and may also appear in the press or other websites where the competition is promoted or reported on. The Conair Group Ltd will not pay the winner for working on the BaByliss PRO stand at Salon International but will reimburse reasonable travelling expenses to and from the show (to a UK address). The Conair Group Ltd will also provide all accommodation, meals and refreshments during the Salon International exhibition period. The winner must be competent and willing to go on stage. The Conair Group Ltd reserves the right to not allow the winner to appear on the exhibition stand and stage should they be deemed unsuitable. An alternative prize would be offered in this instance.

The winner's college will win a BaByliss PRO 'kit', as recommended by Patrick Cameron, and the opportunity to receive a workshop at the college with demonstrations and training on BaByliss PRO products.
