After weeks of deliberating, the winner of the BaByliss PRO’s Gallery Competition 2008 has been chosen. 20 year old Elise Hull from Sheffield College wowed the judges with her winning style and as part of the highly sought after prize, will join the BaByliss PRO team at Salon International next month.

Over the past year visitors to the site have been uploading their work and voting for their favourite style at www.babylisspro.co.uk, with the lucky winner at the end of each month receiving a selection of products from the BaByliss PRO range. The winning image from each month across the year were then pitted against each other and judged to win a chance to assist the BaByliss PRO team at the UK’s biggest hairdressing exhibition, Salon International.
It was Elise’s style shot that won over the judges, which included Patrick Cameron, Desmond Murray, Chris Foster, Ross Taylor and HJ’s Ruth Hunsley. Patrick Cameron says, “Elise’s was my clear winner as the total look feels complete, and it shows a strong feel for the understanding of what they are portraying”.
Elise from Sheffield College will join Patrick, Desmond and Chris, assisting and learning invaluable techniques and tips from them at the BaByliss PRO stand at Salon International next month.
Rob Sidebotham, Professional Division Manager says, “Having launched the new BaByliss PRO website last year, this is the first time we’ve run the Gallery competition and we’ve been really impressed with the number of entries we’ve had and the standard of these. Providing inspiration and education is at the heart of BaByliss PRO and so being able to offer these stylists the opportunity to work alongside hairdressing greats like Patrick Cameron and Desmond Murray is fantastic and a great opportunity for them.”
