This year’s packed award season has not failed to impress so far with hoards of luscious locks and fantastic frocks and backing the style all the way was BaByliss PRO.
First, BaByliss PRO saved the day when Kelly Rowland discovered her US hair tongs would not work in the UK. A quick delivery from the electrical giant ensured that Kelly’s hair remained immaculate during her promotional tour for her new single, “Work”.
Next up, it was our turn to receive an award when the BaByliss PRO Dial A Heat Tongs won the ‘Best Tongs’ category of the InStyle magazine Beauty Awards 2008. The Tongs were nominated and voted for by several leading names including Zoe Irwin and Girls Aloud stylist, Lisa Laudat. InStyle magazine said “When hair guru Lisa Laudat needs Girls Aloud’s curls to stay the distance under hot stage lights, she calls upon these pro tongs. For fine hair turn the temperature down to prevent damage. Use a stronger heat for thicker, coarser tresses.”
And then BaByliss PRO dominated backstage at London Fashion Week with Malcolm Edwards and his team using the range at Vivienne Westwood (check out the big crimped looks), Sinha Stanic, Aquascutum, Amanda Wakeley and Roksanda Ilinic. Tom Kemberey also used his BaByliss PRO tools of choice at the week’s opening show by Costelloe, fashion darlings Rodnik, Modernist and Duro Olowu.
Then Guido took a kit bag of goodies to Milan for his shows, and Alex Foden, Amy Winehouse’s PA and stylist, made sure her hair was as fabulous as ever by taking the BaByliss PRO Heated Rollers to Paris for her show closing performance.
And joining the BaByliss PRO A-List Appreciation Society, Britain’s Next Top Model presenter Lisa Snowden says, ‘When it comes to my hair I trust Zoë (Irwin) implicitly and she introduced me to the BaByliss PRO range years ago. Our current favourites are the amazing Conical Wands, which are great for creating sexy, voluptuous, Hollywood curls - they always come with me when I’m travelling!’
Phew! So after a social whirlwind BaByliss PRO is now getting ready for personal appearances in the next series of Britain’s Next Top Model (on air in April) and another round of requests from top stylists, magazines and TV!!
