A step by step guide to short, sharp cutting with Forfex
Wash and dry hair to its natural fall.
Use the Forfex AC Motormachine (FX690VU) to take weight out of the hair. This is a traditional stlye clipper - ideal for thick hair.
Reduce weight in the fringe area graduating back to leave length on the crown.
Open the ceramic blade on the Forfex Power Definer Clipper (FX670U) and slide through the top of the hair to take out more weight. (Opening the blade and using the corner gives greater accuracy).
Change to the Forfex Precision Sculpt trimmer (FX767) to create texture. These are smaller and so offer more creative freedom for cutting. Cut the side panels, just above the temples from the back, leaving a longer central channel to create a convex shape to the style.
Using the Forfex Palm Pro Trimmer (FX44U) to chip into and break up the hairline.
Taper the hairline with the Forfex Precision Sculpt trimmer (FX767). Tapering the hair gives a soft finish to the haircut. Follow through to the sides.
Clean up hair around ears.
Reduce hair under sideburns.
Remove weight from sideburns.
Finish with a matt shaping creme.
The matt creme gives definition and texture.
